Every year Nana and Gramps have the kids over the weekend before Christmas to open a present, and spend time together. Here are my 3 favorite pics from that night....

Jackson's First School Christmas Program
December 13th was Jackson's Christmas Program at St. Barnabas. All the classes participated, and had a special part in telling the story of the birth of Jesus. We were so proud of Jackson....no tears, just his smile.
The 3's and 4's classes telling the story of Jesus' birth.
Here's J...the 1's and 2's came in shaking bells, singing the news that Jesus was born!

The North Pole Express
December 9th we took a trip to Grapevine to ride the North Pole Express. Jackson was super excited since the night before we watched "The Polar Express" for the first time. He LOVED the movie, and we knew he would love the train ride. Here are our memories....
Watching the pre train ride videos in the tent...
Playing games with daddy.
Once it was our sections turn to board the train, we walked outside to a winter wonderland of snow!!
SNOW!!!
I LOVE these boys!!!

OK...for those of you who rode the train this year, who thought this was pretty sad?? I thought maybe they might decorated just a little better.
Here's the big guy passing out North Pole Express bells...
LOVE J's expression...
A smooth train ride can make yo sleepy...
Have a good conversation with the conductor...

I think this is a new Milliorn tradition....We had so much fun, and the weather made it feel like Christmas time!
Christmas in Downtown Ft. Worth
December 8th we decided to head to Ft. Worth, have dinner, and see the Christmas tree. We hopped on Molly the Trolley, got dropped us off at Riskey's to eat, then walked around to see the lights. Here's a few pics of the evening...

Happy Thanksgiving from the Milliorn's!
Here I am playing Catch up....
Thanksgiving Day at the Milliorn's usually consists of a fun breakfast while watching the parade, the dog show, and my parents coming over to watch the Cowboy game. This year was special....Grandma was here to celebrate with us!! Not too many pictures to share, but a few to make some memories...
Jackson was super excited to watch the parade with Grandma, while eating cinnamon bread!
There he is....it's Santa!!!
No nap Jackson getting a snuggle from Mams.
Jackson and Gramps making a wish on the wishbone. Jackson was not too sure about it.
J loves his Mams!
Popsicles make everything better...even a terrible Cowboy game.
Quiet time with Nana before a bath...
This year's Thanksgiving with the rest of the family didn't happen due to my horrible fever and sinus infection. I hate that we didn't have our big family Thanksgiving, but I am thankful we were able to spend this day together. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Feast 2012
Tuesday (11/20) was Jackson's Thanksgiving feast at school, and all classes gathered in the Family Life Center to enjoy their 'Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.' Each class made their own individual place mat, and hat to wear to the party. This was such a fun way to begin the Thanksgiving holiday...

Our First Family 5K
Sunday night was Grand Prairie's Annual Sneak-A-Peek 5k through the lights in Lloyd Park. There was a large group of families and friends which made the night more fun! Matthew and I have known each other for 17 years, and this was our FIRST run of any kind together. I was so happy he was able to be a part of this tradition. Here are our memories...
