Little J is 9 Months!

So goes another month, (almost) and I haven't blogged about Jackson's 9th month. Wait....really, 9 months?! He is changing weekly, and becoming this sweet, full of energy, doesn't stop unless he's sleeping little boy who I love so much!! Since last week was spring break, Kristin and I took out boys to the zoo, along with everyone else in the metroplex. Jackson LOVED it to say the least, and I can't wait to take him back with daddy. We are still attending Little Gym once a week, and I have joined a wonderful group called Stroller Strides, which is an outdoor workout with you child in the stroller. Ok, let me just say I thought it was going to be a 'social hour' with walks in the park. NOT! These ladies are hardcore, sprinting hills, push-ups, you name it. I was impressed, and have LOVED it since I joined.
Here are some of Jackson's 9 month milestones:
Officially has his 4 front teeth (top and bottom) Just cut his last top tooth this week!
Right now he weighs 23 lbs., and does not miss a meal.
Naps 2 times a day for about an hour each nap.
Now walking with his walker, or pushing his truck.
Discovered he can open and close cabinet doors.....hello baby proofing!!
Blows raspberries all the time....and clicks his tongue.
We are working daily on our sign language, but he has yet to sign anything.....
LOVES to be outside, either in the stroller, on his swing out back, or at the park.
I have posted his zoo pictures, along with some fun playtime park pictures on Facebook. Here are some pictures (3 days short of 9 months) my sister took in her back yard. This day I didn't plan to have a 'photo shoot' of sorts, but these turned out AWESOME!!! The last picture is of Jackson crinkling his nose and breathing in and out. Love it!

Snow, Stawberries, and a Jack in the box!

Hard to believe that my sweet boy is 8 months! This month Jackson has hit some major milestones....Crawling, Cruising, his first word which was "Da Da" (Matthew was so excited), and eating all kinds of new foods. I have recently given him bananas and strawberries which he loves, and different vegetables with pasta! He loves playing peek a boo with the baby in the mirror in our dining room...I love to hear him laugh! We recently started the Little Gym, or I call it baby gym, and just this past Wednesday I had a "Baby Boom" moment. You know, (if you'v seen the movie) the part where Diane Keaton takes her baby to the baby gym and they are swinging on the rings? Yeah, Jackson totally did that! Not on the rings, but on the uneven bars. I was shocked! This kid is strong!

This month Texas has had some crazy winter weather, and Jackson got to experience snow...yes REAL snow. Here are some pics of our winter wonderland...

Here is our Jack (son) in a box!

Outside our dining room window

Playtime....this wagon was Matthew's, and now Jackson wheels it out of the closet daily.

Intro to strawberries....the smile says it all!

I love this little boy...

I snapped this yesterday...looks like he's waving bye.

Christmas Wrap-Up, and 7 Months

I know it been a while since I've blogged, (2 months...eek!!) but this little guy keeps me busy. Jackson's first Christmas was so much fun! Christmas Eve was here at the house with Matthew's family, and Christmas Day was spent at my sisters'. I took some great pictures with my phone, but somehow they were deleted!!!! Fortunately, I took some great video of Christmas morning, so I DO have those memories....

Here are some pictures from Christmas Day...
The cutest little froggie from Nana and Gramps....

Leaving his mark on Maren's new Leapster game.

Mason was a big help. I love how Jackson is looking up at him.....he loves is cousin!
Jackson's favorite Christmas gift...Thank You Aunt Jen Jen, and Uncle Mark!!

Here are a few pics of my sweet baby boy...
So hard to to believe he is 7 months. These days he is crawling everywhere, and starting to pull himself up. Sleeping through the night seems to be a hit and miss, but hopefully this is a phase that soon passes.

Morning playtime before breakfast
The aftermath of the teething biscuit...

Lunch time with a new cup! Right now we still like old one.

Seriously, how can you resist this face?

LONG overdue....4 Months & Halloween

Since Jackson will be 5 months on Thursday, I thought I would dust off the keyboard and post a few of his milestones, and stats. Hard to believe how big he is....

Right now he weighs 18 lbs.
Rolls from his tummy to his back, and back to tummy
Discovered he can scream, and laugh (I could listen to that laugh all day)
Now eating rice cereal with fruit in the morning, and veggies at night
Graduated from the infant carrier to a cushy new car seat

These are a few of my favorite 4 month pics...Enjoy!

Multitasking...

Playtime on the floor....He LOVES this

First time eating rice cereal with apples. Not sure why he looks scared, he loved it!

Look how big he looks in his new car seat...

Halloween was spent at my sisters house with the family. Jackson had so much fun, and loved all the haunted hoopla. This year he was a bumble bee, and it has to be said that he was the CUTEST bee I've ever seen.
Our 'Spooktacular' Family
Seriously, how cute is he?

I LOVE that sweet face!

What a Difference a Month Makes!

3 moths old...time has gone by so fast! Jackson has changed so much, and here are his stats...

Currently weighs 15.9lbs.
LOVES sucking on his fingers and hands (he tries to put his whole fist in his mouth too)
Coos, and smiles all the time
Loves to go on walks in the stroller, but still cries in the car (still working on that one)
LOVES bath time....who doesn't!
Starting to grab toys from me or Matthew

The BIGGEST stat of all.....We are on our way to sleeping through the night!!! The past few nights he has slept at least 5 1/2 hours, and Wednesday night he slept 8 hours! I didn't know what to do with myself.

Here are some pics from last month....Enjoy!

This week we got acquainted with our high chair....and we love it!
Friday we went to my grandma's house, and had some quality one on one time...love how Jackson looks up at Mamas!

Mamas just fed him a bottle and he passed out....notice how his hand is on hers. I love it!

Ahhh....tummy time. Such a strong little boy.

We love our aquarium....

Love those fingers....
Just last night Jackson rolled over from his tummy to his back in his sleep. When I went in to check on him, he was cooing and smiling....so proud of himself. (I think)
