Last Thursday after school Jackson and I picked out our first of many (more to come) pumpkins!   We could not have asked for a more beautiful day....Fall is finally here!

Henrietta Creek Apple Orchard

Monday September 30th, we headed out with our friends to the Henrietta Creek Apple Orchard in Roanoke.   We learned how apples were grown, saw how they were cleaned,  and learned how bees make their sweet honey.  Those apples were delicious, not to mention the homemade apple butter.

After our tour we had a picnic lunch there on property with our friends.  This was such a fun experience for the kids....So glad we have something like this so close to home.

Where Did August Go?

August went by fast and furious...Or so it felt that way. We've had such a fun summer, and so happy Grandma was here to make some memories with us!   Brace yourself...lots of photos!   ENJOY!

Our sweet friends Hayley and Kendall had us over for a weekly swim party!



Now we've been fortunate this summer to attend as many Ranger games as we have, but this week was a rare treat...2 games in one week!  Thank you Julie Reeves for the Wednesday night Win!

Highlights of July

Here are some fun times we've had this month....

Bowling for the 1st time at Alley Cats.

Sunday Ranger Game with Uncle Chris and Daddy.

One of Many times we've been swimming...this day was with Cousins!

1st time playing Putt Putt...in the heat!  Jackson played very well.  I was impressed!

 

 

Seeing an old Ship friend I haven't seen in 10YEARS!  Such a fun time sharing a bottle of wine catching up, and remembering old times!

 

 

Meeting baby Belle for the 1st time....she's adorable!

 

 

Loved bowling so much, we took Aunt Jen Jen, Mason, and Maren!  We had a fun afternoon yesterday with the fam!

 

Ended the day with Pizza and the Rangers!

 

 

This summer is flying by, but thankful we still have August!  Happy Summer Time Everybody...
