Strawberry Fields Forever...

After school this past Thursday, Jackson and I went up to one of our favorite places...Gnimser Farms. Right now they have 'pick your own' strawberries for basically a steal. Jackson had a blast in his rain boots and Ranger hat picking his favorite fruit ever!

Easter Overload...

I finally pulled all of the Easter pictures together! Here is our holiday weekend wrap-up....

Good Friday Easter Party at the Donaho House

This was our 2nd year to attend The Donaho Easter Party...and this year was so fun!  The weather was perfect, and all the kids had a great time.  Here are a few pictures of all the kids....

Off they go!!!

Spotting Eggs...

Had to throw this in....Easter Party 2012

Friday night we decorated eggs for the 1st time as a family.  Jackson had fun dipping the eggs in the colors, and decorating the eggs with stickers.  I was excited to know that my new way of hard boiling the eggs via the oven worked!

Our Finished Product!

Saturday night after Jackson we to bed, Matthew and I stuffed and hid 60 eggs for him to find in the morning.  Micky and Minnie were the first 2 eggs he found right away.  Here is Easter morning....

Look what the Easter Bunny left...

Lego's...of course!

Race cars...along with lots of other goodies!

After he opened his Easter bag, it was time to hunt eggs...

That afternoon Uncle Mark, Aunt Jen Jen, and the cousins, along with the rest of the family came over for a late afternoon lunch.  After we ate the kids were ready to to hunt eggs.  So...there were 70 for 3 kids to find.  The big winner of the day was Maren who found the most eggs, and $12.00!

Counting their loot...

Three generations....

After all was said and done, Mams and Jackson shared some sherbet.

We had a very blessed Easter this year....No tornado's, no rain, just a weekend of sunshine!  A far cry from where we were a year ago.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter....

EEC Easter Party

Yesterday was Jackson's Easter party/egg hunt at school. We've been practicing all week for the many egg hunts this weekend, so he was thrilled for school on Thursday.

I found a clever treat to give his classmates....bunny carrots!

His teacher passed out the kids' basket and Jackson was ready to go.....Notice the cape.  His best buddy's mom made these for the kids in his class.

The Hunting Grounds....
Ashlee and I were the lucky ones to hide the eggs.

Here they come....

Off they go...

After the hunt, the kids came in, washed hands, and had a fun snack!

After school we were invited over to Rosco's (J's best buddy) house to play.  Here's what happens when a bunch of boys get together and play....

Notice J is the only one in a shirt, and notice Rosco always wearing a cape!!!

Checking out the tractor....

Thanks Ashlee and Rosco for fun after school play time!!

Mansfield Pickle Parade

This past Saturday afternoon was Mansfield's Pickle Parade celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  The whole family went...even my sis and the kids joined us!  We met up with our friends, found a great spot on Main St. and enjoyed the parade. I think we've started a new tradition.....

Cousins...

Here's are clan making the walk to Main St.  Too bad I didn't take a pic of my dad (aka gramps) pushing the BOB loaded down with chairs.
