Introducing...Jackson Thomas Milliorn

After a surprising visit to my doctor's office Thursday, I was admitted at 1pm due to my high blood pressure. I was induced around 2pm, my contractions started, and the process had begun. Fast forward 14 hours, I started pushing....and pushing....and pushing...for an 1 hour 1/2!!!!!!! Long Story short....I had Jackson Thomas via C-section June 4, 2010 at 5:34 am. Here are just a few pics. I am in the process of downloading more, but wanted to introduce our baby. Stats...

Baby J's Room

After what seems like forever, our baby's room is complete....well almost. Now we have to find curtins, things to hang on the walls, replace door handles, and patiently wait for his bedding to arrive. Hopefully, his bedding will be here in the next few weeks...fingers crossed!!

Here is his dresser/changing table that I love, and piles of clothes ready to be washed. Above is a picture of Expy as a puppy we thought would be a cute addition to the room. Don't you love the diaper cake? Thanks Hannah...too cute!!

His crib...no bedding. The colors in the rug are two of the three colors in his bedding.

29 1/2 weeks....and Under Construction

Reality is setting in!!!



I know its been a month since I posted, but our house has exploded with projects, and baby furniture. I know your wondering..."Trinli, where are the pictures?" Well, here's the thing...Matthew has once again updated our computer, and the camera software has not been installed. I know your asking yourself... "Well, why can't you install it?" I can, but I'm not sure how to get the pictures off the camera. So, that's why my house and blog are 'under construction.' I promise my next post will be a big one filled with lots of pictures of our progress!!

Anyway.....here's a shot of us at my parent's house on Easter.

Let Me Bring You Up to Speed...

Feels like I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would catch you up on the baby news. Last week I had a monthly check-up, glucose test, and my H1N1 shot. (ouch!) The baby's heartbeat was 159, (I love hearing that) and my belly measures 25 inches from top to bottom. So, I guess I am progressing well...

I decided I need to start the Nursery ball rolling.....1st project - the bookshelf. Here is the finished product, and I have to say I impressed myself. I didn't get a 'before' shot, but the color that is on the wall behind it, was its original color.

The best part about the bookshelf...this was in Matthew's room when he was a little boy. I love that our baby boy's books and toys will fill those shelves!

You asked for it, and here it is....me and all of my 6 months. I can't believe 6 months ALREADY! It still blows me away.

Record Snow Fall, and a Power Outage

What a winter Texas has had this year!! A record breaking 11 inches fell last Thursday, giving all of us a winter wonderland. Unfortunately, with the snow came broken trees, and loss of power. Our power went out Thursday night at 9:30, (during the OC housewives...haha) and came back on Friday afternoon about 1pm. I think we were among the lucky ones, since a friend of mine just had power restored last night! Here are some pictures I snapped during our power loss....

Projects, Furniture, and Movement!

What a week! Last Tuesday our brand new couches were brought to us by the nicest Haverty's delivery men. They were in and out of my house in 15 minutes...I was amazed! Being that Matthew was in Washington last week, he came home to see our living room transformed. (sort of) This past weekend we decided to continue our bathroom 'makeover.' I found this great fabric at Joann's, and thought it would great with our color scheme.....so here is our new window treatment.... This picture really looks dark, but you can still see the sofas. Next purchase...a coffee table.

This is the best part of the sectional....it's called a cuddler. Two people can snuggle on this corner, or you can curl up by yourself. This is my fav!!

A couple weeks ago I felt the baby move for the first time, and since then he has moved a LOT! It truly is the best feeling, and I can't wait Matthew to feel it. He tried, but no success. I know that in the next few weeks he will feel this little guy move.
